Beautiful peacock blue handworked sari (saree)
Almost too beautiful to wear…This type of gorgeus handwork and brocade (commonly called “zardozi”) is typical of saris (or sarees) worn for parties and special occasions – festivals, weddings and anniversaries. The real gold and silver threads are woven in by hand with elaborate beading on silk or silk georgette/chifon to create a visual masterpiece. You will rarely see such stunning varieties of colors and textures outside of India. A real feast for the eyes!
